He spent the following seven years filming the status of the marine life of the seas of Arabia through a non-profit project called "The Arabian Seas Expedition". Sponsored by Panasonic and Matsushita Middle East, JAK's first films were co-produced with London based OR Media and aired on National Geographic Channel in 1997.
Since then JAK has led many joint filming and scientific expeditions exploring Arabia’s land and seas, in some cases, allowing researchers into troubled or difficult areas to access for the first time. "When it comes to dive travel there are a few important things that everyone wants to know - how is the marine environment, how is the diving and are there any unique marine animal encounters to be had. Well, i'm a firm believer in the saying 'a picture can paint a thousand words' and so there's no chat here, just photographs that portray my experiences at the time I visited the destination."
