One format we develop for MENA viewership is to enter into agreements with TV channels exchanging content for airtime values that we pass on to our project sponsors. These include giving sponsors front and back-end bumpers, a certain number of TVCs within the breaks, a specified amount of product placement where relevant, acknowledgements in title credits, branded social media content, PR & editorial press coverage and brand inclusion on educational outreach or awareness materials.
In addition to sponsorship we are also actively raising funds for projects through grant giving foundations and wildlife NGO funding organizations. We have also developed a strong connection with the media’s press corps through the development of a professional network of trusting contacts. This strengthens our leverage with potential sponsors in creating ROI’s.
Wild Planet Films has to date, developed all of our projects thanks to this kind of support and interest from corporate sponsorship. Whether motivated by CSR or marketing strategies, the opportunities created by our multi-faceted projects provide an exciting and creative medium for brand building and positioning in a highly commercial media environment. We stress the benefits of how sponsorship can provide deeply satisfying values for any sponsor wishing to contribute to environmental awareness and towards the enlightenment of society in general.
Despite the proliferation of mediums that increasingly challenge the supremacy of TV for advertising revenues and airtime value, natural history content remains a consistently appreciated way to reach a wide and diverse audience with factual and educational information for wildlife awareness and conservation.
By designing our projects to feature a 360 Degree multiple-use set of deliverables, we create great value for money in a market full of wastage and long-lasting tools in support of education.
FOR UAE CONSERVATION
TLW OFFICIAL VEHICLES
During the filming of 'The Last Wilderness of the UAE', Land Rover sponsored 3 x LR4 HSE 2018 4WD vehicles for over 2 years.
Off-road capable vehicles are critical parts in the overall logistical needs of any wildlife project and the LR4's performed beyond expectations. Fully equipped for off-road expeditions, we covered over 45,000 km during the 2 years in production, ranging from mountains, deserts and along the shores of the UAE.
In return, we provided product placement, brand exposure, credits and PR acknowledgements in media and social media. We are also currently in production of a customised Land Rover social media video and have granted full access to all footage for their own marketing strategies.
With thanks to the generous support of M.K. Trading in Dubai, "The Last Wilderness of the UAE" benefitted from the finest independent lenses available in the market today.
Investing its leading-edge technological expertise into its products to provide equipment of the highest performance, SIGMA is devoted to supporting such creation. Freedom of creation is the goal of all the high-performance and state-of-the-art technologies infused into our cinematographic equipment. The finest equipment for every beautiful image, sincerely from SIGMA.
& FOCUSED ON OUR WORK
For the TV Series "Sharkquest Arabia" we enjoyed the support of the leading broadcast XDCAM camera system from SONY BROADCAST Middle East. This ensured continuity and unfaltering high standards enabling us to meet all the broadcast standards requested by Discovery Channel.
Whether topside or underwater housed in GATES housings, SONY's systems never let us down during the 2 years of production, including gruelling marine expeditions under Middle East summer conditions.
TO NEW HEIGHTS
With the support that DJI offered to Wild Planet Films for "The Last Wilderness of the UAE" and other projects, we have risen to new heights of production values previously only available to cash-rich productions for aerial helicopter shoots. The innovation provided by DJI Technologies is incredible and elevates our documentaries in terms of drama and interest factors.
